I want to understand why equity is more expensive than debt
So just because you buy them, do you run them? I'm a novice obviously.
I’m in negotiations!!!!! Thanks Codie
Hey Codie. I’m using your SF strategy tomorrow
I have a very successful business for almost 9 years now and I am selling it for 130 Million, I want to see who would buy it by using whatever method she's talking about.
FYP
Where do we find the businesses that are for sale?
the book , a unique one
Lol that's my name 😂
Don't forget about freelancing
Start a youtube channel for years…….use the money to buy a business……….
If you can't get someone to agree to this, would you ever recommend using a 401k to help pay for a business?
Helpful content. But some numbers did not work. First, at 07:59 "We bought this for 2X the purchase price," must really mean "2X the profit." Then, 5% of 204K is $10,200, which over 12 months is $850, so a loan payment of $212 does not cover the interest.
I assume you would create an LLC to purchase the business under? That way if (for whatever reason) the business goes under or is unable to make payments to the previous owner, it would come back on your LLC and not on your own personal assets?
Me ? Why ? Lol I watched it all !! Great info !
I want to know why equity is more expensive than debt .
So at 7.58 I paused to read the break down but, how do you pay for the laundry business if you're taking the 9k profit for yourself? $212 interest is just interest yes but where's the seller's payments? Is the 9k profit going straight to the seller?
Love it ❤
what is the website to look for business being sold?
Hey Cody
Im wanting to know if there is a small program in Australia that I can get that will take me through where to look and how to buy my first business. Not much available here compared to US its annoying everything is US based. Love your channel. Many thanks.
I have a question about your plumbing company. How did you buy and operate a plumbing company without license? I would like to buy one boring company like plumbing, hvac or electric, but my big concern is license.
My boss wants to seller finance his multimillion ag retail business when he retires. Should I buy equipment in the business now to start building my share in it?
Insightful and interesting video Codie, but since you didn't mention this, would having some kind of guarantee or insurance like using collateral and offering a house, car or something else that would be as high of a value or exceeding the value of the cost of the business be required regardless of how much would the business cost? since in case the loan could not be fully paid for some reason, the seller might not be willing or might not want to use guarantee or insurance option like RWI (Reps and Warranties Insurance) and personal guarantee.
Can you do a video for Irish people
This will probably work if you already have money, they know you can pay it off anytime, and you're just choosing a different payment option. But if you're in the bottom and struggling, the seller probably won't trust you enough to do any deal.
Haven't come across a single business owner willing to accept seller financing of more than 10% of the deal. They want 90% up front so you either have the cash or the deal is dead. SBA backed loans take so long the seller drops you and banks don't finance M&A's. It's unfortunate but that the truth
You didn’t touch on where to find these businesses. The noobs here don’t know. Never seen a for sale sign on a business. Have a video for this?
I think I found a business but I am waiting to hear back from the email reach out I sent hopefully I can make something happen
9:50 so I can come back and practice this negotiation pitch
QUESTION! The Seller Financing Loan Payment. How did you calculate the amount? I understand how you have all the other amount but i can't find the calculations for the 5 or 7%. where is this from? Thank you in advance for your answers!
Please how can I reach you directly? I intend buying some small businesses in the US.
How to buy a franchise with no money? I need 100k
Would you recommend a lawyer before getting into a small business agreement using seller financing??
Great video. PS Why is Caution by skrxlla instrumental playing in the background. 😅
