I tried getting my moneys worth from an all inclusive holiday, can it be done with a business class flight? Could you do it? 3000 likes on the video and I'll try do it on a CRUISE!
Get yourself an AmEx Black(as a minimum) and use their perks to get access to among other things, the Senator lounge. A nice tip for an even more enjoyable trip.
Business makes sense only for long flights where you can convert a seat into a bed; for short flights, it is just a waste of money. You can have a really lovely time at the airport before your flight, if you allow yourself, for around £ 100 instead of using the lounge. And if you are fussy, you could book two seats in economy, and it still will be cheaper than business.
There's more booze options than food because it's easier to prepare and doesn'ttake much space. Adding more variety to a cooler costs virtually no extra time and doesn't take up more room where as making more dishes would require a lot more time in the kitchen but also your have to put all those different food items somewhere.
I did something similar, went on Qatar's business class for the first time, ate loads, unlimited menu, had three mains. I then proceeded to have a several days of severe food poisoning including a fever while quarantined in a hostel. lol.
I'm very late to the game, but one can actually pay for a one off pass into a lounge (or at least you used to be able to) so you could have taken that off your price.
How early can you check in for your flight? I like the idea of doing with with a connecting flight and a long layover (I once had a 16 hour layover in Amsterdam) But also try to show up 6-8 hours before your flight so you can take full advantage of amenities beforehand as well.

The rest of the value comes from the experience of the lounge, the space, the better seat and the service
very reserved with food prices mate – should be airport prices, not restaurant. chesse cake would be £5.96, pasta etc £14.95
No value for seat size difference ?
That’s a cheap business class ticket price wtf. Sounds like medium haul
On a flight with free drinks, trying to make a profit but walking off the plane sober? Could’ve knocked another 100 off easy
Yes, I do the same when I fly international, I make sure to eat and drink as much as possible in the lounge
I was on the same flight as you, im currently in antalya now
It's worth paying an extra 200 quid just for the space and comfort
This is the most British video ever
You could have also accessed the Singapore or united lounges which are better! Rookie mistake….
Factor in movies you watched based on the rental value, could add a couple of quid from that

You should have deducted the value of the food and drinks that they'd serve on Economy.
