Last year another 25% this year another 10% so total now is 52k plus , so S&P 500 can double every 7 year pretty much

humans really are not good with numbers and their connection to reality
basically you are more likely than ever to lose everything in the s&p500 and the government is funding ad campaigns for it
without investment the percentage lost increases exponentially

Using the last 5 years as data is irrelevant. But yes, this is basically what happens. Covid fucked the market, it was the first time regular people became heavily invested in the market causes surges in everything, it is not normal.
