Change your ETF to physical gold before its too late. ETF will worth less than a toilet paper.

    Namaste

Gold has been traditionally considered as a hedge against inflation and an investor is suggested to have at least 5 % of his investments in Gold.

Below are different means of investing in Gold

    Physical Gold

    Gold ETF’s

    Gold Mutual Funds

    Sovereign Gold Bonds

    Digital Gold

    Thanks

The reality is that, in India, Gold ETFs may soon start defaulting. Years ago, various mutual funds began issuing Gold ETFs without maintaining sufficient gold reserves. Their expectation was that gold prices would appreciate slightly lower than bank interest rates, allowing them to profit from the difference.

However, with gold prices skyrocketing, they are now struggling to redeem ETF units. As of now, the magnitude of the issue is not visible because transactions are happening within the exchange—one investor sells ETF units, and another buys them, leaving the underlying mutual fund provider unaffected.

The real crisis will emerge when investors start questioning the actual gold reserves backing these ETFs and stop purchasing new units. At that point, investors needing liquidity will attempt to redeem their units, and ETF providers may be unable to fulfill these redemptions, leading to defaults.

    Stay cautious.

If expense ratio, .50 and mentioned it's annually – to if I buy for 10 years- so 0.5 will be deducted every year?

If there is a situation a gold price is fixed, and I bought it for 10k.
Will it deducted 0.5% means Rs50 every year? Or when we buy. Means if I don't buy next year, will ₹50 will deduct next year or not.
